TDP Infrared Lamps Series

What is TDP?

  • Gold Medal at the 1986 Zagrb International Fair

  • Silver Medal at the 1986 Brussels Eureka Fair

TDP is a new generation of device that generates and delivers far infrared for deep heating therapy and treatment.

In the world of physics (and hence the universe), everything exists in the form of electromagnetic waves or simply EMW of various wave lengths. The characteristics and effects of everything can be defined by the wave length of the associated EMW.

When the EMW has wavelength between 0.5 m to 0.9 m ( pronounced '~micron", having a length of 0.000001 cm), human senses or perceives its existence in the form of light. The EMW with wave length of 0.5 m appears blue in color. The EMW with wave length of 0.9 m appears as red while EMW having wave lengths between 0.5m and 0.9m are perceived as other colors between blue and red. When the EMW has wave length from 0.9m to 50 m, human perceives it as heat. The EMW in this wave length region is given the name of infrared, as illustrated in the wave length spectrum chart shown in Figure 1. For the infrared with wave length close to red color (which has a wave length of 0.9 m), normally between 0.9 m to 2 m 'it is called near infrared. For the infrared with wave length beyond 2m up to 50m, it is called FAR INFRARED.

Various devices have been designed to generate EMW in a specific wave length region for a specific purpose. For example, a light bulb generates EMW with wave length between 0.5m to 1.0m

Its function is to generate mostly visible light and some heat. The common infrared bulbs (the type used for warming food or for the heat lamp in the bathroom) generates EMW with wave length between 0.9m to 2 m . It generates mainly heat with some reddish visible light present.

The TDP tar infrared device is designed to generate  FAR INFRARED with wave lengths between 2 m to 50 m.

The key to the TDP device is the far infrared emission plate, or simply the emission plate, which appears as a black disk in the device head. It is a steel plate coated with carbon impregnated enamel which, in physics term, functions as a black body radiator. When this emission plate is heated by a common heating element (which generates near infrared), it emits EMW with wave length in the tar infrared range. In a simple term, the emission plate converts the near infrared into far infrared.

Human body responds differently to EMW of different wave lengths. Visible light waves (with wave length between 0.5m to 0.9m) are simply bounced off the body surface and the body feels nothing. The human body perceives near infrared as heat. The near infrared is mostly absorbed at the skin level and raise the skin temperature.

The body also feels heat with far infrared. However, far infrared penetrates beyond the skin level and propagates deeper into the body. In addition, far infrared is absorbed more efficiently by the cells below the skin level as well as at the skin level. Therefore, the heating effect generated by far infrared is much deeper. Since the ability of the body to sense heat is taking place at the skin level, the body can not readily distinguish the skin level heating effect from the deeper heating effect.

The deep heating effect produced by far infrared promotes bioprocesses such as increased metabolism, increased blood circulation, and etc.

TDP is a device designed with the intention of delivering far infrared to produce a deep heating effect in a localized area of the body. In other words, the TDP is designed for providing deep heating in therapeutic and treatment applications.

How does TDP Heater Work?

Early in 1970, The Chinese government decided to send an investigation team headed up by Dr. Gou Wenbin, to a century-old ceramic factory located in a rural area of central China. The team's goal was to investigate phenomenon that was reported by the production leader of the factory. The production leader recognized that there were no single complaints related to arthritis and other working related pains despite the intense physical working environment. After interviewing many elderly employers, the investigation team confirmed the production leader's observation: there were no complaints related to pain and arthritis among the factory workers.

The conclusion of the research suggested that the clay was the reason for such few pain symptoms. After an intense study by research institutes, hospitals, and schools, the TDP Lamp was invented to mimic the properties of the clay. The key part of this lamp is its heat-treated black clay, which contains 33 different essential mineral elements for the human body. This ceramic plate emits a unique spectrum-electromagnetic waves in the infrared range of 2 to 25 microns-which is compatible with the BIO-spectrum waves released by the human body. This allows for maximum absorption. The absorbed energy promotes microcirculation, metabolism and strengthens immune system as well as tranquilized pain on the body

In China, the TDP Lamp is called 'Miracle Lamp' because it does not give off any visible light and it has been widely used to treat over 100 chronic conditions. The TDP Lamp was introduced into clinics and homes around the world including Japan, Hong-Kong, Korea, Europe, Australia and recently North America and over 60 million patients have been safely treated due to its simplicity and flexibility.

TDP Lamp were awarded the Gold Medal in the 1986 at the Zagreb international Fair in Yugoslavia and in the December of same year it was awarded silver medal at the 35 Brussels Eureka World for Invention. In 1988 the device was accepted by the FDA (FDA 510K number is K991503) for use in the United States and has been used by doctors to treat millions of patients with promising results. TDP Lamps are classified as an infrared lamp, under the Federal Regulations [21 CFR 890.5500] and they have a CPT code 97026 for doctors to bill insurance providers.

Because of these great benefits, the TDP Lamp can help your needs in the privacy of your own home.

Consistent quality, reliability and value for money.
